Worst anniversary stay

The fountain outside our room was noisy and blocked the only animals we did see, lovely seeing it mostly empty. The community sharing wasn't told to us nor what i thought i was paying for. Hot sucked it was just a deep tub that pushed water around and the shower leaks.

Beautiful balcony view. The hot tub and fireplace were in great working order. The room was very spacious , with a separate kitchen/living area and bedroom. They provided everything we needed for a quiet romantic getaway.

Horrible! The doors don't work and we've been without water for over 5 hours, unable to use the bathroom, or shower. The heating is bad, and the room is extremely cold. It's truly a terrible experience. It's almost 9 p.m. and there's no water. The attendant already knew about this and waited until I checked in to tell me about the lack of water. Absolutely absurd! Extremely poor service, terrible!

Callahans is always on our itinerary whenever we travel I-5. Upgraded is a great benefit too. Love the lodge decor, the in-room hot tub, and fireplace. Staff is great, as is the food! Clean, quiet, and beautiful scenery.

In the amenities it stated that there was DVD player in the room. There wasn't any. Staff was friendly. However, one staff member was picking breafast potatoes out of the heating pin with his hands.

From the moment we arrived, the exceptional service and warm hospitality made this trip unforgettable. The hotel staff truly went above and beyond - Sherry, Troy, and Jack were absolutely fantastic throughout our entire stay. Their attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and genuine care for guests created such a welcoming atmosphere. You can tell they really take pride in what they do. The restaurant experience was equally outstanding, thanks to Tim who provided exceptional service. The combination of delicious food and Tim's professional yet personable approach made every meal a highlight of our visit. The room itself was absolutely perfect - featuring a cozy fireplace that created such a romantic and relaxing ambiance, and a luxurious jacuzzi tub that was perfect for unwinding after exploring Ashland. The private patio/balcony was an incredible bonus, offering a peaceful retreat where we could enjoy our morning coffee and evening conversations in complete privacy. As dog owners, we were thrilled to discover how genuinely dog-friendly this establishment is. It's wonderful to find a place that not only welcomes our four-legged family members but makes them feel truly welcome too. Callahan's Lodge has earned our loyalty - we absolutely cannot wait to return and make this our regular getaway spot for many years to come.

Had a great experience staying there before, this time was a little challenging primarily due to the location of our room, which was directly under where breakfast is served... lots of noise starting by 6:15, which was a bummer start to our day. The staff, especially Jeri at the front desk, were awesome!
