The room I stayed in was freezing when I arrived. It took hours for it to heat up. On top of that, there was a flying beetle bug on the drapes when I closed them - I thought, "no problem" and released it outside, but when I woke up in the morning and one fell out of my hair into the sink, and another fell out of my hair in the shower, I was pretty grossed out. When I spoke to the front desk, they were pretty nonchalant about the whole thing. It was weird to say the least.

The room was a little small for two king beds but was otherwise clean and comfortable. The staff was great. The hotels is convenient location to downtown Ashland is a big plus.

The Bards Inn is lovely with each room themed after a Shakespe Play. Location is excellent just at the top of Main St. I can highly recommend this hotel
