The room I booked was a Emerald King and we upgraded to a Diamond King, room need lots of work, ceiling need painting, black marks all over the ceiling , bathroom need caulking, housekeeping sent up ripped hand towels on two occasions, sheet on the bed was ripped and had holes in it, the pillows on the bed fluffy but the housekeeper did not change the pillow covers three out of four covers had big yellow marks on them, each day you asked for housekeeping service and upon return at 4pm it was still not done, you now have to call them to get it done when it’s our nap time. Breakfast is okay , not enough protein selections daily. Dinner the waitress with the braids simply amazing, all others couldn’t care less if I was there. They were more incline with the man who had two hookers than to simply get me a menu or drink . Paulina and Andre’s at front desk are phenomenal workers and are the two persons that made the stay enjoyable. Hand or dish towels is recommended when you wash cutterly or a dish and want something to dry it. Beautiful hotel and location .

We had such an enjoyable stay at the York....from our friendly welcome from Andres right at the front door, we knew this hotel would be a 5 star experience. The breakfast was fantastic, the rooms gorgeous with a stunning view of the city,and wonderful meals at the rooftop. We can't wait to return to this exceptional hotel!
