This stay was deeply disappointing, primarily due to the handling of a basic cleanliness issue during check-in.
Upon entering my room, I noticed one pillowcase had visible dirt or makeup on it and the duvet cover had multiple red specks, indicating the bedding had not been properly changed before my arrival. I called reception four times with no answer, so I went down to the front desk to request a clean duvet cover and pillowcase. One receptionist initially told me I could not receive fresh bedding that evening and would have to wait until the next day, which was unacceptable given the items were dirty upon check-in. After I insisted, I was told the items would be sent up “shortly” and was then effectively dismissed, I received a new pillow but the duvet cover never arrived for the rest of the night. I followed up by calling the front desk nine more times and even sent a WhatsApp message to the hotel’s business chat, yet I was ignored and was not provided the clean bedding under the next day in the afternoon.
Expecting clean sheets on arrival is not an unreasonable request, and the dismissive attitude and lack of response from the staff made the situation far worse. The way this was handled left me feeling that guest comfort and hygiene are not taken seriously at this property.
I will not be staying at this hotel again and would not recommend it to others.
