"Such an unassuming place, but such great hospitality, comfy bed, clean room and bathroom. Our room even had chairs in the quiet backyard. And the room rate was a bargain."

"Great lodging with thoughtful amenities within the room, at a very affordable price. Spacious, nicely furnished, comfortable king size bed. Very functional kitchenette with fridge, microwave, dishware, Keurig coffee maker, pods and even half-n-half provided. The property has nice spaces in and outside for larger gatherings like a wedding reception. Self check-in was easy, but some interaction with the proprietor or staff would have felt more welcoming. It felt a little strange to just come and go. We liked the quiet location in McCloud, away from the tourist spots, shops and restaurants. Great hike at the McCloud falls which are a quick drive from the lodge. We enjoyed well prepared meals at the Pipeline Craft Taps & Kitchen in Mt Shasta."

"Only one bathroom so plan accordingly. There are limited plug in as there are being used for lighting and fans. We had six senior adults and those are some tough stairs to use. I am sure it would be great for younger folks. All in all good place to hang your hat for awhile and check out the scenery."

"The staff was absolutely amazing, they were extremely accommodating and served the most amazing breakfasts! Sitting on the patio watching hummingbirds was so much fun. The location is close to the 3 waterfalls hike and stunning views of Mt. Shasta. The town is quiet and has limited access to restaurants but the service at each place we visited was great! Highly recommend!!"
