An absolutely lovely well kept property. Miguelina, the owner, lives on site and gives her attention to every detail. Her staff is hard working and friendly. We love it here!

Good staff and good location.

Large room was great, big bathroom , fridge ,microwave ,stove. all very handy. Nice pool and hot tub . Area around the pool for lounging and nice social area. Can*t pay online and had a bit of a issue with their credit card terminal ended up having to paying cash for 2nd day. As you can see from the picture it is a bit of a store front location drove by and missed it twice , liked being able to park the car in front of my room ,when its full you have to back out onto the busy street in front to leave.

Great place to stay in Mazatlan

Room was super clean and comfortable and only one block from the beach with a beautiful pool area. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance in a safe area. Joel at the front desk was awesome, very friendly and helpful. All the staff was great. Will definitely stay here again.

Very attentive staff and well-maintained property. Small enough to remember your name. Seems to attract return visitors year after year. Many lively restaurants within a short walk, including several on the beach. Access to beach via sidewalks between the resorts across the street. Many buses run in both directions, towards the old Centro or the Marina, for 13 pesos 70 cents US). Only downside is long taxi ride to airport.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and having a small kitchenette was nice. The pool was very nice, but not heated. The beach isn’t far away and restaurants are in close walking distance. It is on the outer part of the golden zone, so a bit far from some stuff but a short bus ride away.

Very quite and safe. Rooms are well off from busy road. Easy walk to beach, restaurant’s and bars. Room exceptionally clean and comfortable. Overall room, grounds, buildings, and pool very well maintained, actually all looked brand new. Staff was super nice. Very affordable only had to pay and extra 250 pesos for our medium sized dog, not bad at all. Safe parking , room well appointed with full frig and kitchenette. Great place for family’s and pets!

My first morning at Mar Sol Bungalows, I went to walk my dog and before I left I laid some wet pesos from the day before up high in the closet to dry. I was only gone for about 15 mins when I arrived back two maids were leaving my room. I asked them if they were in my room. They lied said no when I just saw them leaving my room. I went into my room and they had cleaned out all my $500 dollar pesos 2000 in total and left behind the smaller 20 dollar pesos. I came right back out and asked them directly. I got nothing but denials and there was nothing I could do. It didn’t leave me destitute but I felt very disrespected and unsafe. I was able to find an apartment that day and left after one night. Do not leave anything of value in your room if you must stay there but my strong advice is to stay away. It is literally a group effort. I definitely felt like all the staff working there are in it together.
