The pictures and Expedia reviews are incredibly misleading, we only spent one night there and that was too long. The rooms were incredibly dirty, the wifi did not work in our room (and we were directly in top of the lobby) the restaurant was closed when we arrived (1:30 pm) and there was no room service. The sport bar in the facility looks nothing like the pictures as well, and the man running it was clearly annoyed every time people walked in. The breakfast was good, but it’s not complementary, since it doesn’t seem to be part of the hotel so not sure if they should get credit for that. There are cheaper places you can stay and probably get better amenities and services. We feel completely scammed.

The Azteca Inn did not disappoint. The only thing lacking is a mini-fridge. Staff were awesome! They’ll even teach you some Spanish. Close to everything and most importantly, close to the ocean.
