The room was sqeeky clean and smelled nice. Beds are very comfortable. The women who checked us in was really nice and helpful. Walkable to shops, restaurant and watering holes. Would definitely stay hete again.

Honestly, I wish expedia had a zero-star option for places like this. Our experience at Mariposa Lodge was downright unpleasant. We politely asked for just 10 extra minutes to check out — not an hour, not half a day — and were immediately threatened with extra charges if we took even a minute longer. This was on a Monday morning during the off-season, with only three cars in the entire parking lot and zero other guests in the 15-room block we were staying in — so it clearly wasn’t about availability or inconvenience. When we went to the front desk, the woman there was rude, dismissive, and refused to let us speak to a manager, claiming she was the only supervisor. She then raised her voice and ordered us to leave — a display of completely unprofessional and inhospitable behavior. There’s zero sense of hospitality or courtesy here — only arrogance and hostility. For a small-town lodge that relies on travelers, this attitude is shocking. Mariposa has plenty of other places that treat guests with basic respect. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else.

I enjoyed my stay at Mariposa Lodge! It was about a 45 minute drive to the Yosemite Park, specifically Arch Rock entrance. The town Mariposa is really small, but it is walkable and has great dining options. Both check in and check out for the hotel were fast and easy. The staff was attentive and quick to help.
