"This is one of coolest, most unique places I've ever stayed. Authentic Austrian culture and history is incorporated in every aspect of the hotel. The staff all went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, from helping us understand the extensive (complementary) sauna options to serving the most delicious (complementary) breakfast. "I stayed here one night on business. There are multiple dining options within walking distance of hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. My room was let down by noise - could hear everything from hallway and birds/church bells outside. Parking is good. Ask hotel for parking instructions before you arrive - it will streamline the process. Room was clean enough and bathroom good but dated. Overall a good choice for a limited stay. "

"Absolutely wonderful Christmas stay ✨ Cannot fault this hotel at all. We had such a lovely stay over Christmas. I was reluctant to book at first as the hotel is not in the centre of Salzburg and a lot of the reviews are from a long time ago, but it was the best decision! The hotel is in the middle of wonderful countryside, it’s so nice to be able to explore the city and then stay in this lovely little picturesque town. It’s so easy to get to, just hop on bus 150 to/from Salzburg and it takes about 20 mins. The buses are super regular (even on Xmas day!), cheap and really comfortable. The hotel is in superb condition, recently renovated by the looks of it and the decor is perfect. Our room was well furnished, super clean and we had a large balcony with a view of the mountains/lake. Breakfast is included and was top quality. We also went to the hotel bar on Christmas Eve which was lovely and the drinks were spot on. We didn’t use the pool/spa as unfortunately didn’t have time but had a nosey and it looked wonderful. All staff members were super friendly and if you get time to explore the surroundings you won’t forget it, they’re stunning. I honestly have no complaints about this hotel and encourage everyone to visit! I loved Salzburg but I’d come back just to stay here."
