If you want to experience Mardin’s traditional stone houses, this family-run guesthouse is an excellent choice. The architecture of Mardin’s interlocking stone houses is very open to the smoke from the barbecue in the adjacent building, as well as to music and ambient sounds. In this regard, Ana Talia House is one of the most peaceful accommodation options available. As a family-run business, they offer both warm hospitality and professional service.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights. Its main advantage is the excellent location, within close proximity to Mardin Square. The property is run by a mother and her sons, who were kind and highly responsive. However, the hotel is overpriced relative to the quality of the room furnishings, cleanliness, bathroom facilities, and breakfast.

I loved my stay at Ana Talia Hotel—it truly felt like a home away from home. The lovely family took such good care of me, which made a big difference as a solo traveler. It was always comforting to come back to a place that felt so warm and welcoming. The location is perfect, within walking distance of all the main attractions in Mardin. Breakfast was homemade by the mother, and it was absolutely delicious. It’s a small boutique hotel, and the room was a bit tight—possibly too tight for two people sharing. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Excellent location, very walkable to all attractions and dining. The rooms are very pleasant with a great architectural style mirroring the city of Mardin. The staff is very helpful and highly professional, ( Mehmet was amazing), typical Turkish breakfast served in a beautiful veranda. In addition they transported us to the airport with a very fair price. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting this gem town.

The hotel is in the middle of old Mardin, operated by a very warm family. Very "Mardin - like" accomodation in an old house for a reasonable price. There is a paid parking near museum not far away (can be full in the afternoon / evening and in that case parking is complicated). Great breakfast. We prolonged the stay for 3 nights.

I honestly can’t find the words to describe how amazing this hotel was. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming — they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their hospitality was beyond expectations. It is a cozy hotel run by a family. All the staffs are super friendly and helpful. The room condition was good and all the facilities ( TV/Air con/ hair dryer / bed) were very good. There was a spectacular roof top view we enjoyed the sun set very well. They served local traditional breakfast which we enjoyed very much. While it is in the middle of the hill and rental car access is not recommended, they provided special assistance when we drove there and left the hotel. Definitely recommend this hotel.

One of the best hotel experience in Turkey

It's one of the best accommodation experience we had in Turkey. The whole hotel is very beautiful, the room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is very delicious. The most important of all, the host family is very friendly and helpful. The street in front of the hotel is very small, and you shouldn't drive in there. We made a mistake without contacting the host first (which was mentioned in the instruction that we HAVE TO contact them first) We drove the car into the small alley, but luckily everything works out fine because the host could see I was panic and tried to guide us to the parking ASAP. We really like Mardin. If we ever come to Turkey again, we will skip Istanbul and transfer a flight to Mardin. This hotel is located in a very convenient location. I definitely recommend everyone stay here!

19-21 Mayıs tarihlerinde Mardin’de Ana Talia House’da 2 gece konakladık ve çok memnun ayrıldık. Otelin konumu gerçekten çok güzeldi; Eski Mardin’de hemen her yere yürüyerek ulaşabildik. Gelmeden önce otel sahibi ulaşım ve otopark konusunda detaylı mesajlar gönderdi, ayrıca telefonla da yol tarifi yaparak bizi otele yakın ve fiyatı uygun bir otoparka yönlendirdi. Otele girişimizde bizi bizzat karşıladı, oda seçimi konusunda alternatifler gösterdi. Kaldığımız oda yüksek tavanlı, ferah, taş dokusuyla Eski Mardin ruhunu çok iyi yansıtan bir odaydı. Otel sahibi ayrıca yapının tarihini ve restorasyon sürecini anlattı; konaklamaya ayrı bir anlam kattı. Odalar temizdi, ısıtma veya klima ihtiyacımız olmadı. Konakladığım oteller arasında en ilgili insanlarla burada karşılaştığımı rahatlıkla söyleyebilirim. Bize gezilecek yerler için sıralı rota bile gönderildi, yemek için de güzel öneriler aldık. Kısacası hem konum, temizlik, ilgi hem de atmosfer açısından çok başarılı bir konaklamaydı. Mardin’e gidecek olanlara gönül rahatlığıyla tavsiye ederim.
