Many positives...Great location, easy check-in, good communication response. Beautiful landscaping, great dock (easily fit 26ft boat). Spacious with awesome front and back porch. Adequate kitchen supplies, but some items are badly worn and should be removed/replaced. Negatives...No information or instructions were in the home. There is a TV on the back porch (advertised in the listing) that had no remote and could not be used. Hot tub advertised was unusable (broken/cracked jets, no instructions, gross stain). The garbage cans were half full upon our arrival and there was no trash pick-up during our entire one week stay. We had a dead rat in our driveway one day and found mouse droppings in a cabinet in the kitchen. Steps from the back porch down to the pool are uneven causing us to trip going up and almost fall coming down. One of our guests sustained fairly bad bruising on his leg from a fall. Property is advertised as four bedroom, two with an en-suite bathroom. However, one of the en-suite bedrooms (not the master bedroom) is only accessible by either going through the 4th "bedroom" or the laundry and bath rooms. Ok for parents & kids, but not two couples. This bedroom also appeared to have a mildew issue. Clothes hung in closet smelled awful; there was some black growth (mold?) and moisture around the wall vent. Really just 3bdrms as 4th bedroom (murphy bed) has no dresser or closet. Overall a nice home with great potential but definitely a little neglected.

This worked out very well for our family of 8, all grown & some married.Beautiful and spacious & great location in middle area of Marathon. (It was close to the airport and even so, we were never disturbed by planes and helicopters). We even took family pictures outside, lots of beautiful trees and plants. We had only a couple of minor issues, but the rental company was responsive. The main one is that the pool/spa heat does not get warm enough for the winter (we did have a cool spell). I don’t think there’s anything they can do, it just doesn’t get warm enough.We even got to meet the out of town owner and talked to him for a while. Very nice. He was cleaning out some stuff, he didn’t come because we had an issue.Would stay here again.

Great Family retreat

What a great place for the family. Very clean and well maintained. Perfect pool in the back yard offered some very rare privacy (not easily found in the keys). A Great dock for fishing and boat watching. The pool table was a great addition for a rainy day. I would highly recommend for a special family vacation. Easy check in with a friendly management staff.
