When looking at the photos of the unit, I was unable to see that the bathroom was inside the 1 bedroom apartment for 4 people. It was inconvenient and uncomfortble, especially to use during the nigjht.There were no paper towels in the kitchen. Under the Murphy bed, there were three dead roaches, while there was one outside the door.

Amazing place ! Stayed in the Marlin suite next to the pool and yards from Porkys bar and restaurant. This place exceeded our expectations in every way including free kayak and bike hire. We will definitely come back and you need more than one night here to appreciate the place.

This hotel is one of our favorite hotels to stay in the keys. Highly recommend. Great inclusive amenities and they also offer excursions for an additional cost like sunset cruises and snorkeling which are soooo much fun! Didn’t do it this trip but have in the past. Definitely worth the money!

The staff was super friendly and it's really nice to have bikes and kayaks included. It's fairly minor since we only stayed one night but the quality of the unit is pretty rough; giant gaps in the flooring, broken paneling, bed frame is a foot too long for the bed, one of the blinds wouldn't close, wall is super thin and could hear neighbors talking and their tv, the picture quality of the tv looks like it's pre-HD.

We stayed on the Family Bungalow (Houseboat). Very different, very cool experience. Staff was very helpful and responsive to issues (heat!). Very good location to restaurants, Charters and a bus stop to Key West or any drop-off location on the route. A lot of fun things to do right on Captain Pip's property!

Was a unique experience with the grand kids on the house boat. The boat was on a canal, the gulf view was at the pool, not far from boat. Limited cooking facilities but they worked for left overs. Nice place for eating meals and coffe in morning outside on boat.

We arrived for a late check-in at 10 PM. There was no one there, and we never received any instructions on how to get into our room. When we called the after-hours phone number, it went straight to voicemail, and no one ever called us back. I do grant that the check-in desk was very apologetic the next day when they realized the situation. We stayed in the Mermaid Room-first floor, building 2. The room had no soap, dust covering the ceiling, and the walls had a bamboo texture that was falling off in places. The bed was not comfortable. Overall, it had a very neglected feel. We would not stay here again.
