I wanted to take a moment to share feedback about our recent stay at your property on Saturday, October 18.
We arrived late that evening and were greeted by a gentleman named Vito, who was very friendly and made our check-in experience quick and easy. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated that after a long day of travel.
However, there were a few concerning incidents during our stay. Upon arrival, we noticed a woman outside the front lobby who appeared to be under the influence of something. She was smoking just outside the entrance, which didn’t particularly bother us, but her condition was concerning.
The following morning, around 6 a.m., the hockey team staying at the hotel had their bus running outside our room, which was quite loud. Later, when we went down for breakfast (which was very good), we again saw the same woman from the night before. She appeared inebriated and was attempting to get breakfast. Shortly after, she was hunched over near one of the entrances and seemed to be on the verge of an overdose. We immediately informed the front desk, but it did not appear that much was done in response.
While we understand that unexpected situations can happen anywhere, this experience made the property feel unsafe and unmonitored. It’s unfortunate, as our interaction with staff and the room itself were otherwise positive. The water wouldn't warm up in the shower, so we did not end up using the shower.
