Fairly good place, located 3 minutes from train station and walking distance from town centre. Clean, all in good condition, completely quiet despite next to busy road and train tracks. Bed a bit on the soft side, and a coffee maker in the room would be nice. Tip: sign up for their ‘H Rewards’ loyalty programme and you get free public transport ticket from reception.

Love the location and ease of access to the city. The room was very comfortable and functional for working. The dining options were unimpressive in the hotel and held odd hours. But I felt safe and comfortable and had great sleep! Would definitely stay again!

The hotel is clean and conveniently located near the train station. Room service is upon request (not sure if there is a charge). There is no shampoo/conditioner in the room, which is weird. When asked, I was told to use the body wash instead. Seriously?! I also did not appreciate being charged for an early check in. I arrived around 1 pm. I understand when the room is unavailable, but they had the room and still charged me 25 euro.

Comfortable stay but would have liked toiletries

We stayed for 2 weeks in July 2025 while in Mainz for a business trip. We had a comfortable room and everything was clean. We would have liked shampoo in the room, and other basic toiletries like cotton buds, cotton balls, shower caps, which are usually provided by hotels. Other than that, the bed was comfortable, airconditioning was good, cleaning staff clean when you request for them, but the cleaning was a little inconsistent. For example some days we would get water, some days not, and some days we would get less towels. Not a big issue, just something we noticed. Overall everything was good.

A good room that is starting to show some age. The mattress is a bit too soft for me. But it’s a perfectly fine room, especially for the price. The rest of the property is is great shape and up to date, as is the room itself. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
