"As a cornish resident we noticed a cheaper last minute deal through hotels.com . Excellent greeting at the gate, the chap gave us a map and a clear explanation of the grounds and access to parking.
We arrived a little early and left the car while then visiting the town and harbour. Walk down was simple enough. Walk back took a bit longer as a long steady hill.
Check in was quick and all staff were super polite. The room was really spacious and clean. Bathroom was large with a big shower. Only disappointment was no black out blinds or curtains which meant we were awake early.
Bar was nice although a little quiet. The grounds and other amenities looked really good. Lovely view of the harbour from the road around the castle. Didnt have breakfast so cannot comment.
Lovely stay. Will keep an eye out for future deals. "
