The location was great, with multiple metro stops within 15 minutes walk, many dining options nearby, and a nice public square right outside its doors. I absolutely loved my stay at Hostal Vázquez de Mella in Madrid. The location is unbeatable, right in Chueca and just steps away from Gran Vía, surrounded by amazing restaurants, shopping, and everything you could possibly want within walking distance. What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. They even helped me book a special tour to Toledo and gave me great restaurant recommendations every day. Honestly, for a hostel, this place feels much more like a hotel. My room was huge, very clean, had a private bathroom, and even a beautiful balcony. Everything was comfortable, quiet, and well maintained. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Madrid.
