I love the 1842 Inn. It is a beautiful Inn that is on the national register of historical places. The grounds are beautiful. The breakfast is amazing. The staff are super nice and helpful. Highly recommend to people who just want a relaxing getaway

We stayed at 1842 overnight to attend a concert . I would stay again just to hang out ! The staff were incredibly service oriented and everything was done with a smile . The front desk , the kitchen and wait staff, and housekeeping were the best . Cheers to all of you hard working people!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The 1842 Inn is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious! The gentleman that served us was nice and very informative about the Inn. I wish the girl that greeted us when we came in had been more informative and friendly. Generally at a bed and breakfast they give you more information when you check in. We couldn’t find her to ask about the evening happy hour or evening fresh cookies. So that was a bit disappointing. Overall the Inn itself was great.

This is a wonderful inn. The property is historic and beautiful. The room was gorgeous. The bed was comfortable. The amenities were outstanding. The staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was good though I will say it was not as large a quantity of food as I would have expected. And the area around the property is historic and beautiful as well. It is walkable to get to downtown Macon, which was helpful. I would definitely strongly recommend this day. And BTW, the collection of photos of celebrities that have stayed at the same property was mind blowing. Everyone from Oprah to Barbara Eden.
