This location was advertised as offering a fitness center and sauna. Upon arrival, I found that neither amenity was available at the property.
As a fitness instructor, the availability of a fitness center is essential to my work and well-being while traveling. The listing’s false representation of these amenities materially influenced my booking decision. This falls under the definition of false or misleading advertising, which violates both consumer protection standards and the expectation of truthful marketing under Choice Hotels’ brand policies.
The lack of promised amenities, however, was due to no fault of the staff, who were all very kind and apologetic.
