Upon arrival we were greeted with a sign that said the elevators were not working. The man that greeted us was polite but unable to give us anything but an upper floor room. We had several pieces of luggage we did not want to leave in the car so were forced to carry them up and down the stair wells. This is unacceptable service. I think our room should have been provided gratis for the inconvenience. Very disappointing. The facility was worn out and needs an upgrade. We will not return to this property. Not being able to provide a simple service like an elevator and offering nothing in return to guests other than our room could be cancelled without penalty is not right. Telling guests they can find their own room at another hotel if they want is poor service. I look forward to a reply.

The negative items in order: 1. The elevator was broke. 2. The room was not clean. 3. There was not any soap in the room. 4. When I asked the front desk, they said they did not have any soap. 5. The towels were tattered, torn, and scratchy. 5. The television did not have ABC so I missed the Texas and Texas A&M football game. 6. The side door would not open with a room key so the guests simply propped the door open with a rock. While we were there, a rock was in the door 50% of the time. 7. The breakfast was minimal. The juice machine was broken. There was not any fresh fruit or yogurt. The coffee was terrible. 8. The staff were friendly and apologetic, but it appears that owners of this hotel were not investing in maintenance or services for their guests. Needless to say, we will never stay at this hotel again in the future.

Breakfast was limited. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Room was clean enough but in poor shape. The bathroom needed a total overhaul. The tile was falling off and paint was bubbled. Hallway was very dark.

We always book Hampton Inns and they've never let us down, but we won't stay at this one in Lubbock again. The staff was unprofessional, barely looking up from their phones at check in, our room smelled musty and wet, the bathroom had water damage that was covered up with wall paper, the beds were sloppily made. The bathroom floor had a thick, sticky film on it, maybe mopping solution? The nightstand also had a sticky cleaning solution on it, my cup actually stuck to the nightstand. I think this location must be a smaller Hampton Inn because there were very few breakfast options and they had a tip jar out (!). It was quiet and it wasn't terribly dirty, and with it being a game day weekend, there weren't other options available so we just dealt with it.

The rooms are very old and worn, the paint is chipping/bubbled, the wallpaper is wrinkled and crooked, the carpets are disgusting, it smelled of mildew, the toilets and shower clogged, the furniture and fixtures are old and damaged, beds are uncomfortable, doors are damaged and don’t close properly, and the whole building felt damp. We didn’t have hot water in our bathroom so they moved us to a different room where the toilet was clogged and the lights blinked. The staff was very nice and helpful and tried their hardest to help and worked hard to clean but I feel bad that this is the environment they have to work in.

We arrived before the 3:00 check in and the lady behind desk was kinda rude. Asked if I knew when check in time was my answer was yes but we had traced along way so hard to judge about time. Needless to say she was rude. We left and came back after 4:00 and was given a room on first floor. The floor was dirty and the air conditioning barely worked but was tolerable. They have a great place to walk your dog

Comfy. Safe. Not excellent but nice.

We booked 2 queens and were surprised with just one king bed. We are friends so little awkward. Rug was stained a dirty. But room seemed clean. Bed comfy. Elevator broke and had wheelchair lady stuck on 2nd floor. They had it fixed in <30minutes. Safe area.
