Small but OK

This was OK. Bare bones in industrial neighborhood. If you’re not accustomed to city life, you may not feel comfortable here. But it’s in a decent location to just walk to local restaurants and stores. The bedrooms were a bit tight with the large beds. But 2 adults in one, and 2 teens in the other was manageable. Only 1 tv in one of the bedrooms. Oddest thing is there was no toaster. Kitchen supplies are very limited. Neighbors are friendly.

Derby Digs!

We rented this for Derby weekend, and it was great! It was a very reasonable drive to Churchill Downs. We loved the nearby restaurant, and the house itself had a great layout to make sure that everyone had their “own space”. The only negative was that several of our pillow cases had stains on them, but we were easily able to find extra linens that were clean.

Close to downtown (10 min drive) Close to various other neighborhoods. Located in a mixed neighborhood of housing, commercial and light industry. Easy walk to local hangouts such as Restaurants, Bars, Billard Hall. Short drive to other things like attractions, Grocery Stores, and shopping.

Cute and comfy, but the neighborhood is not quite there yet

The neighborhood was quite industrial and not family friendly. The neighborhood still has a ways to go before it feels well suited for a family with younger kids. The house was cute and comfortable, but the back bedroom had an issue with ants.
