We had a great time staying at Derby City! The only downside was that the elevator was down and seemed to be slow going. The staff were friendly and it was a convenient place to stay!

Clean without many extras

Clean room and bathroom. Staff was great. Room way overpriced for event but it was safe and clean. No gym, no pool, casino is slots only. Bed was just okay. Overall I’d rate it as just “good.”

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Otherwise, pretty disappointing. I came in on a Monday night and had to ask for towels Wednesday night because I had't received any housekeeping. Be prepared that the casino is slots only, no tables. The steakhouse is ok, the bartenders were nice and the food was solid, nothing too special.
