disappointed in front desk to cancel buffet that was accidently ordered when booking. Got the run around and they said I had to call Expedia. then the buffet was terrible. eggs you couldnt eat, bacon that was off temp. and chop suey and pasta that had no sauce for breakfast. Then they said the sunday brunch was extra and they had no breakfast buffet that day. Plus a long black hair in pineapple. After that we only ate at pool or offsite

Beautiful hotel and outstanding staff, but not a peaceful getaway. I’m sharing information I truly wish I had known before booking. Had I known this in advance, I would not have stayed here. If you’re looking for quiet and relaxation, this is not the place. There is loud techno/club music at the pool from morning until evening. During our stay, a DJ played on three separate days, and the volume made it impossible to read or relax. There are no quiet areas on the property to escape the music—it’s unavoidable. Our two 21 year olds felt the music was too much and detracted from their experience. If long beach walks are important to you, this hotel will also disappoint. The property sits on a small cove with very coarse sand, allowing only about a five-minute walk. The beach is not swimmable due to sea urchins. Nearby walking options are limited to streets lined with apartments and hotels, eventually leading to the highway. Because of this, we spent time in the gym, which is small but well-equipped, and guests were respectful about sharing equipment. The service was exceptional. Every staff member was warm, accommodating, and attentive. Rooms were beautiful and spotless daily, and the team did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. While the hotel and views are stunning, the experience isn’t what I’m looking for. I don’t want loud music forced on me—I want peace, quiet, and walkable beaches. For that reason, I would not return.

This was our second time staying at the cape thompson celebrating our anniversary! the staff has been absolutely wonderful from the moment we checked in until we checked out. The views, the property and amenities as well as food is fantastic! Went during a slower season and we were upgraded to the residence suite and it was a dream! we will continue to stay here for future cabo trips!

Excellent property! Can’t beat the views this place has! The pool is great too and the food at the pool is spot on!!! The drinks were great too! (Other than the pina colada, which needed more rum for sure) The rooms are beautiful and the air conditioning is great and there is a ceiling fan as well! Welcome gift was much appreciated as well!
