Be more family friendly with the activities and the services provided. Both jacuzzi’s were not available for my family as we have children and the weather was post-storm. The other jacuzzi was for a different type of members which we were not told about beforehand. The food is mediocre and is very bland. There is very few selections for those who do not eat pork. When we had first arrived, the beds were not cleaned as we had found a pair of fake eyelashes under the cover. Some of front desk staff were not courteous as they were very curt when assisting with fixing my room key. Our room keys stopped working once and then the door to the room did not want to open and when asked about it, we were told to maneuver the door handle until it opens. Overall, my family and I would not stay here or any other resort or property associated with this hotel.

Staff was nice. Room was very old and very very loud. We could ever noise throughout the other rooms and hallways. Food was terrible and gave us food poisoning. Drinks were terrible. Fewer restaurants than advertised because we had to pay for upgrades to get anything more than the most basic things.

The double beds were fulls and not queens which made it uncomfortable for a family of four. The mini bar in the room was disappointing. The staff were all friendly.

The pool area was great, never really crowded. They had several pools in different areas of the property. Loved that we could walk right onto the beach. Was able to walk right into the waves and enjoy them. Our room was on the street side of the hotel and the lights at night were beautiful and could see up to the mountain range.

Negatives: Cockroach issue: Found 10 cockroaches in my room over 7 nights, mostly dying on their backs, indicating poison use. Cockroaches also seen in stairwell and kids' play area, which is concerning when I have 2 toddlers around. Facility is a bit dated and run down, with discolored dingey bath towels and empty shower gel dispensers for days. Pizza was good but long lines and inconsistent enforcement of the "1 pizza per person" rule. Buffet food was average, but pasta station would run out of pasta and don’t have a soft serve machine. Snack bar was the worst option with long waits and poor quality food (inedible burgers, hot dogs, mushy fries, strange chicken nuggets, watered-down nacho cheese). Pancho’s tasted like buffet food, but without the variety. Asian restaurant: Best option for reservations, though menu varied and we had one good day and one bad day. Most pool chairs were reserved before 7:30am, often with no one using them for the entire day. Had to make dinner reservations through app, but 2 of the 3 times it wouldn’t allow me to. Had to visit a women in the lobby, but I kept missing her every time I went. App didn't have the schedule for the nightly show and front desk didn’t have paper schedule for the week Positives: Location: Convenient, close to large supermarkets, and felt very safe. Kids' amenities: Kid's pool, playground, and kids club were well used and appreciated. Kid’s club staff were nice and organized daily crafts. Bar service is good.

They gave is a room right by thr elevator. The cleaning staff congregated by elevator every morning laughing and chatting. They would slam doors every morning. The room had no amenities . Got no sleep. The food at restaurants were not good.

The room was a mess with lights and AC shutting off every few minutes and a thermostat that only worked after constant resets. Only one trash can in the bathroom, no microwave, and a TV with no channels. You can hear the next room’s TV. Room service costs extra and drinking water is not delivered. You must fill bottles at fountains. Bars serve the cheapest alcohol. No food after 10 at night, no lobby snacks, and a 45 minute lunch line for pizza because one person runs the station. One small, half baked pizza per guest. The resort also treats non members like second class. Even hash browns at breakfast are members only. Special dinners and an exclusive beach restaurant also shut out regular guests. The buffet is poor with limited choices. Vegetarians will go hungry and chicken options are negligible. No cups at soup or drink stations. Marco Polo food is cold and bland. The Italian restaurant even served paella with stale seafood. The kids water park is far from the main pool and poorly maintained with so little water that kids cannot slide. No life jackets or floaties provided. Ice cream is a single cart that appears once at two in the afternoon with one flavor. Pool chairs are limited. Few staff speak English which makes communication hard. Entertainment is minimal with no pool volleyball and dull activities. Only one evening event and even that lacked forks and spoons. The pool depth of 4.6 meters can be unsafe for non swimmers. Avoid and spend your money elsewhere!

The room was clean, lots of pillows, but the beds are rock hard. The towels are clean, but thin and old. The staff was pleasant. Do not like being hounded by timeshare people, and do not like being treated like 2nd class people just because we aren't members. (for instance the type of alcohol we were given)
