Check in process was frustrating- had to ask for a manager for a king bed and ultimately got one but seemed like unnecessary hoops. Check out not much better - took forever and the receipt didn’t match my credit card charge - ultimately gave up since I had to catch my shuddle. The staff was very friendly however pool service was under staffed and details were often missed due to language barriers. I have stayed here back in 2012 and 3015 and feel like it is lacking leadership these days and has fallen behind the competition

Every staff member I came in contact with was friendly & helpful. The food at all the restaurants and suite service was wonderful! The whole resort was peaceful and calm. Not a bunch of rowdy 20 year olds lol. Had my hair cut in the spa and that area was also relaxing. My son and fiancé made reservations for the teepee dinner on the beach and they said the whole experience was A+. 100% recommend

very disappointing experience. No concierge assistance. Tried to book activities in advance but could only get limited responses through email. called and was told everything had to be done through email. after check in we went straight to the concierge desk who told us they could not book restaurants, spa, golf or New years eve. everything had to be done directly with spa etc no idea what the point of the concierge is if this is the case. No availability to get reservations for dinner on property for the whole of stay. This meant we had to go to other properties (which were also very difficult to get reservations for) incurring additional charges even though we had paid for all inclusive. All I could do was submit a claim form which I did when we left and was told the manager would get back to me. almost a week later and nobody has reached out. rooms are extremely in need of updating. staff on property friendly but constantly trying to upcharge. other properties looked nice. I wont be returning

Some of the staff was great and some Wasn’t. There weren’t enough amenities on the property you had to go to sister properties in order to have entertainment, etc., at night.

Marco from the breakfast buffet was awesome! Really welcoming and respectful. Property was ok. Clean. Bartender Raul from the market was really rude to us. We are merely asking for a Coke Zero and we can hear him talk bad about us to his coworker. We understand Spanish. We would most likely NOT book again. Thanks for the accommodation.

This is not an easy place to book a reservation. They offer an app that does not work and within the resort they do not know who should book or what we are talking about from the app. Very clean and quiet and reserved if that is what you are looking for.

We had an incredible stay at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica, celebrating my 30th birthday. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out. Jose at the front door greeted us warmly every day and made us feel genuinely welcome each time we returned to the resort. Jose behind the bar was equally wonderful and consistently delivering great drinks. Marco, the manager at the pool and Siempre, went above and beyond. He checked in with us almost daily whenever we saw him, always ensuring everything was going well and that we were enjoying our time. That kind of presence and attentiveness really elevated our experience. We were fortunate to be served multiple times by Luis at both Peninsula and Pescados, and he was truly a top-tier server. Poolside service was excellent as well, thanks to Martin, who was friendly, prompt, and always made sure we were taken care of. Giovanni, the bartender at the Airstream made some great cocktails and was great to chat with. And of course we had a blast with Manny from the activities team. His personality made every activity more enjoyable — engaging, upbeat, and genuinely fun without feeling forced. While there were a few very minor hiccups (nothing out of the ordinary for a resort of this size), they were handled smoothly and didn’t detract from the experience. The property itself was great, adults only, safe vibes, and easy to travel to/from.

The hotel was far from all the sights. We were forced to hire a taxi every time we wanted to leave the hotel. We tried to move our reservation to another sister resort. They of course did not want to comply.
