The front desk was not nice they tried to get a $1,000.00 deposit for our stay, I’m used to 300-400 that’s pretty standard, when I complained they dropped it to $200 acting like it was huge inconvenience for them. It’s really mostly the attitude of the guy at the front desk that was not a good way to kick off our stay there. The drinks down by beach and food were pretty expensive, we had 3 sushi rolls and only one drink and our bill was $153.00, seemed excessive for sushi on the beach, not even anything fancy just regular stuff. Sushi at a nice spot here in Houston is less than that. It just feels like you’re being taken advantage of. This is my 6th time in Cabo and it was the first time I had such a disappointing experience there, I’m sure I’ll go back to Cabo, but not to Me Cabo.

While the hotel is in great shape, the tipping culture is out of control. There isn’t much differentiation if you’re a guest or have a day pass. I even had a waiter ask me about his tip. Not what I expected.

This hotel was like staying at a very loud nightclub. The sound day and night was so loud you couldn't have a conversation with someone next to you without shouting. I felt I needed to wear my concert ear protection. Moreover, they wanted to upcharge for every small amenity, including coffee in the room. For a "luxury" hotel, this felt nothing of the sort.

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had – unsafe, rude management, and fake charges I have traveled extensively and stayed at many hotels, and ME Cabo has been the worst experience I have ever had. First, only a few hours after check-in, someone entered our room without permission and turned off the lights while we were inside. No explanation. No apology. A serious violation of privacy and safety. Second, our confirmed stay was December 12–14. Due to a misunderstanding when extending the stay, multiple bookings were created for December 15 and one was canceled within about an hour. Even though the room was not used and check-in is at 2 PM, the staff refused to help, blamed Expedia, and still charged us. Expedia later confirmed the hotel had the power to fix it but refused. The manager was rude, dismissive, and would not even let me speak. Completely unprofessional. Finally, during checkout we were stopped and forced to pay a “damage” fee for something that never happened. No room inspection, no explanation, no proof — just pay or you can’t leave. It felt like intimidation and taking advantage of guests. For a hotel claiming premium standards, this was shocking, unethical, and unacceptable. I am requesting a full refund of the forced damage charge and duplicate December 15 charges. I strongly warn future guests — beware of hidden fees, rude management, and zero accountability.

The beds are comfy, the shower is nice, and the property is close to everything. However, there are no tissues, only one sink in the bathroom, and not much going on at the pool… boring! Also, every meal is crazy overpriced. Make a better choice and stay at an all inclusive.
