Staff is easily some of the best hotel staff in the area. We travel A LOT, many 5 star hotels mixed in with some general travel spots as well. The Garland hits right there in the mid 4's for great cozy resort. The Pool, Adults only and general hot tub, pool bar, all just lovely. Comfortable and easy with the pretentious attitude some places come with. Cocktails are great, wine selection is good, food by pool and courtyard is also above par. What makes this place: Staff ---Super Kind, helpful, and efficient Pool and Bar: Cozy, Clean, staffed well, great drinks. Location: 5-6 min from Universal or a free shuttle the hotel provides in their open air trolley. So cute.Shuttle runs hourly. 16 Min to Burbank Airport avg. Only downfall and it's NOT a true downfall, but the rooms are on the smaller side. The amenities, housekeeping, upkeep is all great, they are just a tad small for my liking but NOT at all an issue. 3rd trip here and will be back!

Beautiful hotel, very clean. Only suggestion was wishing they had a microwave. Other than that I highly recommend. Also maybe have the Universal Studios shuttle run every 30 minutes rather than every hour.

Wonderful stay for one night for a wedding

We were at the hotel for a family members wedding. It was just one night but everything was wonderful The setting for the wedding and reception was beautiful. The staff were so friendly. Everyone we encountered was polite, welcoming and courteous. Everyone from the front desk to the servers at the reception to the groundskeepers to the housekeeping staff all had smiles in their faces and greeted us warmly. 100% would recommend to anyone.

From the start of our stay to the end it was beyond what we expected. The movies in the pool were a huge hit with our kids. My husband and I loved the outdoor area and had beautiful weather to enjoy relaxing out there every night. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to LA.
