The property itself it is very pretty and well kept, the rooms were clean and beds comfortable! The staff was extremely nice and courteous. A plus is the tram for free, that takes you to Universal Studios multiple times a day and back. It was the perfect stay! I can only recommend this hotel.

The staff were amazing except for the rude front desk lady who wouldn’t help me and was dismissive. However, Gober was very nice and incredibly helpful. Dominic the bellman went above and beyond. The property was amazing except it would be nice if the secret garden wasn’t chained and locked when not rented out.

I really loved the retro, 70’s decor and the fireplaces in the lobby and the pool area. Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent. There was lots of parking convenient to the rooms. I would go back the next time I end up in LA.

We loved staying at The Garland! Such a cute hotel with a lot of character and charm. Everyone from the front desk person who checked us in, to all the staff in the halls, store, pool, and especially the restaurant, were incredibly friendly and kind. Movie nights at the pool were a fun bonus, and all the food was delicious.
