The door lock of our room was not working when we came back from dinner. We had to go to the front desk twice and wait outside for the staff to open the door and change the door lock battery. It was not a good experience.

I stayed a night at this property both before and after a week long trip to Cancun. The hotel is close to the airport and the shuttle to and from the airport is pretty regular. They did not have the type of room I reserved available, so I was put in a different type of room. I booked and paid for a king and got a queen room. It was very loud at night due to the traffic near the hotel. There are not any options for food or drinks outside the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel requires you to pay a Mandatory 20% gratuity. I ate at the restaurant, the food was overpriced, they were slow to get out food and drinks, they had only one waiter, and service was not very good. I would have never tipped 20% for the service I got. I would not recommend the hotel or restaurant.
