Breakfast limited

Wifi dropped out they said it was because of rain. I guess USA rain is stronger than Australian as this doesn’t happen in Australia. Airport shuttle was excellent but make sure you give full name of hotel as there a few Marriott hotels. Breakfast was not worth the price of adding to stay.

I needed an overnight hotel near the airport. This was a huge room with what I needed to be comfortable. Very nice!

Airport shuttle was excellent. Only waited a couple minutes. So close to LAX. We watched the airplanes come in all night in our 12th floor room- and really didn’t hear too many!! Although it is really far in the distance- we could also see the HOLLYWOOD sign!! Staff kept bags secured prior to our check in time so we could go explore the city. Was able to check in early. Room was spacious and all the amenities were available. Area around was dirty, limited dining, industrial-ish looking. Two places for food right on property. Would have been a half mile walk or a $40 uber to go get any other food. No stores in the area for shopping or last minute items that were forgotten. DoorDash and uber were convenient and life savers (although we paid a price!!).

I was awakened by a knock on my door at 5:00am! I called the front desk and was told she would contact security…I received no follow-up call to see if I was okay…2 hrs later, was awakened again with the sound of construction working in the courtyard. My housekeeper was excellent.

We loved how huge the room was, it was very quiet. All the staff were very friendly We did not like the laundry room as one of the washing machines was filled with smelly water (it was unplugged) But before we noticed any of that we threw part of our clothes in, where are you?

The staff itself was sweet (especially the breakfast people), however the shuttle driver was rude, but he didn’t belong to the hotel.. it was odd as well, because every other airport hotel usually has certain times when the shuttle leaves the hotel, this one doesn’t so that just made it really annoying in the morning. Expedia said everything was covered, tourism tax and everything but the hotel still charged my credit card for it - trying to get it back but they are unfortunately unresponsive
