Nice enough. Clean and convenient location. But if you're driving hotel parking is $40 per night, and there are not really any other options.

The amenities were respectable and in line with photos of the property. However, there is no soundproofing on the windows. The room we stayed in faced the back alley, which picked up late night bargoers next door (and I mean every word of their conversations), sirens and motorcycles racing by, and dumpsters being emptied at 4am. For 2 of our 3 nights, we could not sleep longer than 3 hours at a time without the aforementioned interruptions. Having no blackout curtains on the windows was the bad icing on a terrible cake. We will not be coming back.

The bathroom was small, outdated, and not well lit. Not enjoyable. The room itself was okay but not very aesthetically appealing and I won’t be staying there again. It needs a lot of upgrades.

Hotel Kawada

Rooms were clean. Bed and pillows too stiff for me personally, but sheets were nice. Towels were also good. Street noise was TERRIBLE, could hear every street race, backfire and emergency vehicle. Staff was exceptional. Very friendly and really helpful. We liked the bar/restaurant next door (Hill Street). Neighborhood was walkable and felt safe. Hotwl was close to Grand Central Market, so eats were close by and a good variety.

this hotel is located near central market food place with many restaurants and food to buy. Walking distance to restaurants, near freeways. Micro and TV in room, also coffee. No breakfast served, valet parking at hotel.

Hotel was nice beautiful entrance. Room was decently cleaned. Walkable area. Valet parking was 40$ a night so be warned of that.
