We didn't have hot water our entire stay, when this was mentioned to the front desk she told us that “is the way it is” and “sorry it doesn’t meet your expectations”.

It was a nice little hotel but the phone in the room did not have wires to plug it in so was useless the floors needed to be mopped not just dry mopped no parking for larger vehicles plus the surprise charges when you check in

The Elan Hotel was part of my LA trip, and it turned out to be a great choice. I managed to do so much in such a short stay — checked in close to midnight and checked out almost at midnight the next day! The location is excellent — close to Beverly Hills, within walking distance of The Grove and Beverly Center, and just a short Uber ride to the Hollywood Bowl or Santa Monica. The room was perfect: clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The staff was friendly and professional, and they went above and beyond when I realized I had left a medicine in the fridge — they kept it refrigerated for five days until I returned to LA. Truly great service, an unbeatable location, and a wonderful experience overall. Would definitely stay again.

The front desk staff was so nice, and I loved the perks that came with being "guest of the day". But the fire alarm went off repeatedly during the night and the elevator to the parking garage was out of order. So lots of complications for a one night stay.

The hotel its self is very nice, quiet and clean. The day staff is very nice and attentive, the overnight staff it took us 10 minutes to find someone to let us in the hotel to park the card. The garage gate hit the front of our rental when opening there should be a sign or warning from the staff. The water pressure and temperature was not good.

A/C blew air but did not cool the room. Hotel was undergoing renovations during my stay so facility wasn’t in the best of shape. Room could have been cleaner. No trash bin or hair dryer in the room. Staff was nice and pleasant. Parking was issue for me just because I have a truck with a rack so I couldn’t clear the garage height limit. Overall I give them a 4.5/10

Noisy and Exhausting!

The room was not ready at check in, we had to Wait. We we’re tired from traveling so when we finally got a room my son tried to nap but the remodeling noises started up! There was a problem with the bathroom in the first room we were waiting on and never got, we needed two beds instead we received 1 King. And a Sofa. The sofa bed was not comfortable my Son didn’t get a good sleep. They were remodeling and the noise in our room was rediculous hammers banging and drills shaking the walls and waking us up very early we couldn’t sleep in after a night out.

Awful Stay No Running Toilet

I was moved to 4 different rooms during my 3 day stay. The 1st had just been painted and the paint odor was awful. pant supplies were just outside the sliding glass door. Room 2 had not been made up. room 3 was acceptable. But later in the evening, the toilet was not working. I was told they would waive my parking fees for the inconvenience, which I appreciated. Next morning was moved to room #4. Ran out of Toilet paper and took forever to find a roll. the worst offense was when someone else walked into my room. they had given my key to a new guest. Went to complain and when I came back to room my key did not work. Checking out, Oscar was quite rude. I asked for some compensation for all of the issues. Not only did Oscar not offer any, but said I should only have had 1 night parking waived. That was the last straw. I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 5 years, but no more.
