As a solo traveler I enjoyed the feel of the hotel. Very cool lobby area and cool places to work. Place was secured. Room was clean and I enjoyed the ipad control. For my first solo trip I feel it was a very good option.

The room was very clean! Very modern. My daughter loved playing with the tablet which controlled the lights in the shower and room. From blues, greens and red. Electric blackout curtains! The size was very intimate but designed in a way to help it not feel so small. Huge bed! Had a bench and chair, 1 vanity area with a mirror another more like a desk as there wasn’t a mirror and a full length mirror by the small closet. There was a blow dryer. No refrigerator or coffee maker. No cups or ice machines in the hall. However we got ice buckets from the bar downstairs. Very friendly and helpful staff. One woman bartender was a tad stiff. I asked if she could make a Shirley temple for my daughter or some other type of mocktail besides the 2 that were on the menu. She said no, made no eye contact and said we only have what’s on the menu. Then instructed me to “study” the menu. Earlier in the evening a gentleman helped us and made us a mocktail with pineapple, orange a little lemon juice.. he shook it up in the shaker and put cherries and a nice garnish on it for her. I am a bartender so I was very set back by the other female bartenders lack of effort. I asked for a double Tito’s and Diet Coke and she looked at me in shock like why didn’t I order anything on the menu. I kept it simple but she still seemed annoyed. Smh!! it was a quiet Thursday night I’m not sure what her problem was.

This was a great stay! The rooms are quite small, but they are perfectly appointed, clean, and very comfortable. The staff is amazing, it really felt like home to come through the door every day. The food is great. The bar is very nice and there are many very thoughtful shared spaces that provide places to work, places to socialize, and places to relax, so that it doesn’t matter that the room itself is quite small. Highly recommend!

TV didn't work properly and staff offered a few ways to fix it. Nothing worked, and when they told me to call them at the front desk to let them know if something they tried fixed it, it went to being on hold for over a minute. I went back downstairs and the phone had been off the hook, so it never even rang for them. Eventually they moved me into a different room but it was on a lower floor so the view was just of someone's apartment. Very small rooms but otherwise everything was nice. I'd stay again if the location/price worked out, but I'm not so sure about it being a good room for a long term stay. It's also hard to get in/out of the bed as the "inner" person.
