The room was stinking with sewer, mold and dampness. The smell was very strong, had to sleep with an open balcony door, otherwise couldn't breath. One night the hotel was building a stage for a party - the loud construction noise and the noise of two huge generators was unbearable. The hotel failed to inform guest about this until last minute. I requested a room change and the new room was even more smelly, no towels, dirty. overall for that high of a price, this hotel is a scam and a rip off

So the staff at the front desk is amazing. Dianara and Francisco were great. The hotel its self is beautiful. The property is nice.. BUT the beds the BEDS are horrible.. its like sleeping on a freaking hammock. Also the pavers and walking paths are not well lit and are broken so if your not stable on your feet be careful and via con dios. The pool was super freezing cold and the jacuzziwas boiling hot.. the food is not great and the portions are small. But it was all that they had to eat there. Literally not even a vending machine for waters or sodas. The best item was a burger but who goes to Mexico for burgers. And the 4 wedges of fries.. is uneventful. The property is far from the town of loreto each cab ride was 20 some bucks each way. The plus side is that the property is on the beach

Whilst we have stayed here several times before this has got to be the very worst stay EVER! The towels are full of holes, aged and hard. The linen/sheets did not fit the beds. The fan was extremely dirty. Rooms and bathrooms are dated and faucets are no longer firm in the sink. Staff were unfriendly, unhelpful and bar service was exceptionally slow. We paid for the premier room at the beach. The deck was nice and large yet there was no warm water for the jacuzzi. It’s time for a serious upgrade to this hotel!!

Only the house keeping was good! They have a serious problems with the sewerage smell in the bathroom. Tried to have lunch in the restaurant that was supposed to start at A12:30 pm and it was 12:45pm and still not even a waiter in sight!!! Jacuzzi that was supposed to work from 9 am to 9 pm , jajaja only used as little pool by kid's… Ask for a towel for the palapa seats by the beach and the reception employe told me that they would have cleaned ones in 20min. yea right jajajaja Men’s bathroom by the cactus restaurant, had the two only urinals covered with plastic (obviously out off order) and had to pee in a dirty toilet, on the night just before there New Year’s Eve party event.. Overall a much needed maintenance in all the resort!!! And last : WiFi that came and went by the lobby. Obviously no signal in my room. And the only excuse for all this issues was that is the low season and not enough personnel.

This hotel has a big potential, had a beautiful view but needs more staff to attend guest or answer questions , áreas closed due to minimal staff . Walking distance to local shops, if you purchase the breakfast you get 2 options which it was okay with us but n would been very happy if they were more attentive. I will rate it a 3 due to the minimal staff .

Disappointing stay. Staff is not helpful and although the hotel is outdated it is also not clean. We booked an ocean view room and were given a room facing the desert. After asking about the reservation they said sorry they didn’t have ocean view that day. We upgraded to a master suite and the room smelled awful and the spa was dirty with standing water as well as standing water in the shower. The pool was also dirty and seemed oily. The beach out front was not swimmable because of jelly fish which stung multiple people but the hotel did not have any warnings about that. The breakfast was ok, and the restaurant was the only spot in the hotel with welcoming staff. The hotel doesn’t offer money exchange, does not have an ATM and will not give you change for larger bills so come prepared. We have been to Loreto a few times but will not stay here again.

Took us at least 30 minutes to check in. They couldn’t find our reservation. When they did, it still took them awhile to get it finalized. We were tired after a 14 hour drive. The bathrooms in the lobby were disgusting with clogged toilets. Then when we got to our room we had NO TOWELS. Not even a hand towel. Went back to the front desk and they wanted to give us pool towels. Then only gave me 4 bath towels. The restaurant is overpriced and the service is mediocre I had to ask the server to come to the table twice - she was sitting on her phone. The food was okay. The hotel is right on the beach and the rooms are good. Just needs some lessons in customer service and amenities.

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Only two or three staff members seemed to genuinely care about serving guests. The resort was extremely quiet, yet many of the amenities were either closed or not working properly. Breakfast was terrible — we would have rather spent the extra money eating at one of the restaurants just outside the resort. The pool was infested with bees; at one point, my fiancé removed over 40 bees from the pool after a guest was stung. No staff stepped in to help — they sat on their phones watching him do what should have been their responsibility. Pool service was essentially nonexistent. We had to get up almost every time to order food or drinks. The room itself was just okay, nothing special. There were multiple staff members smoking at a closed bar near the pool, and the smoke blew directly toward us despite “no smoking” signs posted throughout the property. Overall, the staff had a very poor attitude toward guests and showed little interest in fixing issues or offering help. We were also told that complimentary bikes were available for guest use, then later told they didn’t work when we asked. Ironically, a different staff member simply inflated a tire a few hours later and gave us bikes with no issue — it seemed the earlier staff member just didn’t want to do their job. In the future I would definitely rent and air bnb from the loreto bay community and skip the resort entirely. No worth any money! Don’t ruin your vacation.

This hotel has a lot of potential, but unfortunately it is not properly managed. I do want to note that the restaurant staff were great, they recommended an excellent mezcal that we truly enjoyed. However, overall the hotel was dirty, run-down, and understaffed. I would not book here again.
