What a dump. Staff could not work the computer system, and kept looking at me like this was my fault that I put her in the position because I was checking in. She actually raised her voice at me at one point. Then she gave me a dirty room. I went back and she called someone to assist her and they said no. The room I finally did get had clean linen, but the bathtub had a ring and still had soap from the previous occupant. It is conveniently located to a truckstop which is 24 hour food and drink, but there is another hotel on the other side that I will be staying in next time because the staff is very polite and the property is nice. They were full is the only reason I ended up here. I cannot say enough about how bad this property is. I wish I could leave you the pictures that I took so that you don’t make the same mistake I did avoid at all costs.

Room I originally booked was booked when I arrived but the room we were given was a good replacement. The water pressure was awful and beds were incredibly uncomfortable. Breakfast left a lot to be desired but I guess it’s better than nothing. Every morning and night housekeeping would make these incredibly loud banging sounds. The door was difficult to open to our room. I suppose the price I paid reflected in the quality.

Great weekend in Carthage

It was warm in the room when we arrived but it did cool down by bed time. There were no cups in the room but I was able to get them from the front desk. The only other issue is lighting. I am legally blind and the canister lighting, though stylish, is not sufficient. That isn’t anyone’s fault but I want to bring that to your attention. All in all, it was a great stay

The bed was harder than concrete, the ac hardly worked and most of the breakfast machines were out of order. It was a place to sleep and we were hardly able to do that because of the beds.
