I chose this property because I needed a Jacuzzi and a nice shower after a long days drive. Sadly the Jacuzzi was out of order and shower had no water pressure and had moldy sealant. Disappointing. On the plus side was the location. Lots of restaurants and shops near the hotel.

The bathroom door drug on the floor so bad that it took 2 people to open. The floor was so scuffed it had clearly been that way for a while. Ceiling was hanging down The room was huge and beds were good. Except the sofa bed. It was so bad we went and bought an air mattress for my daughter

The property looks nice. The pool is broken and it doesn’t seem that they are in any rush to have it fixed. I was told the hot tub worked. When we tried it out it was luke warm. They did have a man go heat it up. It took a while but they did try. By the next morning it was perfect. The lady at breakfast was super nice and the breakfast was really good. I just feel if the pool is out of order they need to alert people making reservations as we would have gone somewhere else. It was clean, the staff nice, and breakfast was good.

Water stains on ceiling.. missing grout on bathroom floor, low toilet pressure, mildew smell in room , just seemed dated and not super clean . One elevator broke down . Pool dirty and scummy.. said closed for maintenance but no one was working on it. Only gave us one key card and we kept having to get it re keyed. Just seemed like they were having a lot of issues. We would have changed hotels but had a large group already there. Will not stay here again.
Mattresses had stuff hanging out and bedding didn’t seem super clean,
None of the phones in our room were even working no dial tone had to use cell phone. Tv only had two channels.

The staff was nice and professional. Breakfast was the usual free breakfast—nothing special. The hot tub had stains, and a small shelf in the shower fell off during use and hit my foot. The bathroom door would not close properly. The treadmill belt slips while running. When I mentioned these issues to the manager, they essentially said the hotel was too busy to repair the room and made excuses for everything. They explained that different people have different views and that most guests don’t mind these issues. However, for $160 a night, these problems should have been addressed. Additionally, the side door on the ground floor (used for going in and out of the hotel) was not locked, which is a safety concern.

The staff was not very helpful at all. The Hotel was just dirty. My room smelled like mildew, the carpet was damp/wet, the bathroom tiles were coming up and shifting every step I took on them because there was no grout left, and the shower had no hot water!!!!!

I grew up in Longview. It is a special place to me. Being there was wonderful. The property was nice but there are signs of aging. The bath tub had signs of damage and wear but otherwise it was nice. Breakfast was excellent.

A Bit let down

I was a bit disappointed as Hampton has always been excellent in the past. This one was not as nice as normally is. I mean it had a moldy/mildewy smell and that made me wonder about how clean the carpet was??? The room was roomy but just did not get the good feeling I normally do with Hampton
