"Staying in a historic 100 year-old hotel is very interesting. I was surprised how well my room was appointed. There was a refrigerator in microwave and coffee supplies in my room which I didn’t expect. The bed was super comfy and the location was quiet. There is a wonderful space upstairs for socializing and coffee and tea, which overlooks the backyard. The backyard has a lot of lounge spaces in a hammock. The town is very quiet and there’s not even a convenience store in Glendale. The breakfast was amazing. So many choices and the quantities were extremely generous. There was even peach cobbler from peach trees on the property.Also, there was a reading light for the bed which I appreciate because I’m a nighttime reader. There are hummingbird feeders with lots of hummingbirds, buzzing around on the front porchI’m already making plans to go back."
