The curtain was broken, letting in a lot of light from outside and I couldn't sleep properly The shower door slides open when ur using the shower , I had to hold open the shower door Although I held down the shower door to keep it closed while I was showering. The water came out of the corner and got the entire bathroom floor flooded. Try going to the toilet with your feet in the water. It wasn't fun. Mr Gurung was quite nice. Rest of the staff... mesh. I stayed in that room 401 last year and it foooded then too. lol don't stay in 401.

Outstanding hotel, highly recommend. Excellent friendly staff made us feel very welcome. We got a basic double room which was small but efficient. It did have small bedside tables on each side of the bed and a small desk with chair. Nice little nook held the coffee and tea service. Shower pressure was great, linens were high quality, bed was comfortable. We did have drinks in the bar/seating area after returning from dinner and had a lovely visit with the front desk staff. Lots of dining options and coffee shops nearby. Perfect for a night or two but I would want a bigger room if we were staying longer. Opening up two suitcases for an extended time would be hard to do in this room. Note that Richmond is close to Heathrow and you will hear airplanes until midnight and starting at 6am no matter where you are. The hotel has good insulation so we had no trouble sleeping, but we could definitely hear the jets.
