I booked a superior room, but upon arrival it became immediately clear that I had been placed in a basement room instead. The room was outside the main building, difficult to find, and not at all what I had paid for. Although the room itself was comfortable, it was very cold, and there were issues such as condensation on the walls, visible mold, and dust-covered glasses. The overall cleanliness and condition were far below expectations.
The hotel’s website states that luggage storage is available, yet when I asked, I was told there was no storage in the building. Instead, I was advised to leave my bag at a nearby off-license and pay for it — completely inconsistent with what is advertised online.
The staff were also not very friendly, apart from the woman on the phone she tried to be helpful, even tho I had to call 4 times for door instructions and when I politely requested a simple 30-minute late checkout, they refused, even after I had already been flexible about being moved to a different room type.
Overall, a misleading and disappointing experience that did not match the price I paid.
