The Columbia was a perfect base for exploring London. Beautiful, peaceful location, just a few steps from Hyde Park and a short walk from the Lancaster Gate tube station. Our room was spacious and comfortable and breakfast was plentiful. Would definitely stay there again.

Location was great, rooms are kind of old looking but clean. Breakfast was continental for 12 GBP good selection. Area around was safe and lots of things to see and do. While there was a hit wave so AC would be great, we had a fan in our room. overall I will give 3of 5 stars

Beautiful room with good bathroom - overlooking Hyde Park - very nice staff. Despite the heatwave we were very happy with the hotel Unfortunately there is no A/C in the hotel however we asked for an extra fan for the room which the hotel was happy to supply. Great location for Hyde Park, tube and bus routes and easy access to all the London attractions.

We had an excellent stay. The breakfast was lovely, the staff were wonderful and the location could not be beat. It could use a bit of a refurbish as the bathrooms and carpets are looking like they have seen better days and with the lack of air conditioning perhaps 2 fans per room would more helpful. I would still recommend this charming hotel and would stay there again. They were even able to accommodate putting the 2 rooms I reserved next to each other which was very helpful.

Hotel was in a beautiful area, just a short walk from multiple metro stations, restaurants and shops, and of course, Hyde Park. Area felt safe, clean, and the staff were delightful. I would highly recommend this place.
