Had a fantastic stay. Great location, lovely breakfast and amazing staff who arranged a balloon and sweet treat in our room for my daughter’s birthday, which was a lovely surprise and treat and very much appreciated. We will definitely be back!

There was an issue at check in- we had 3 rooms booked, one for a single person, and two for an adult and child. At check in, an adult and child were given the single person’s rooms: for some reason this was adjacent to the other double. The second double was two floors above so our family was not next to each other.

Our rooms weren’t ready for our check in and we had to wait 45 minutes I had requested two single beds for my grown up grandsons and there was a double bed instead which made sleeping for them very difficult. I was also surprised to find that the hotel did no food in the evening so we had to go out in bad weather to get dinner. I was extremely disappointed with my stay. Out in bad weather to get dinner.

The staff could not have done enough for us, and had decorated our room prior to arrival as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. They continued to make us feel welcome throughout, and the room was in excellent condition. Loved the area, and would definitely stay here again.

The location can’t be beat, and it provides all the basics for business travel. Among the sticking points though were absolutely inconsistent water temperature in the shower (without warning it would get hotter or colder) and the very loud construction happening above us on the sixth floor, which began several mornings around 7:30am. The latter, honestly, was the worst part. If you’re going to place people on the fifth floor while renovating the sixth, I think they should be warned or given some kind of discount.
