The location was perfect, right across the road from Paddington station which is well connected for the tube and Heathrow. The hotel was clean and staff helpful. Will book next time when I’m in London

I have a complain that i want expedia to raise it to the hotel management as i tried to send their guest relation the feedback and received that they are not able to investigate or receive feedback as i booked through third party and feedback should come from expedia. It started when i arrived at around 1:15pm at hotel and wanted to check in with my family and the receptionist lady told us that we need to pay extra fee of 15 sterling to check in before 3pm saying this is the hotel rules. I told her that this is not in my booking confirmation nor was that mentioned during booking online but she insisted that these are the rules and it is stated on the hotel own website. I asked to talk to her manager and here started the big problem of unprofessionalism and impoliteness in hospitality: A very rude and impolite guy telling us that this is the hotel rules and we should follow the regulations, he is not listening even to the guests and he said the following: If you want to cancel, i am happy to do that and you go do whatever you want or you pay the fees to check in; he also said by the way the cameras are recording here and i can get you the police if your voice increases-this is pure threatening guests! then when i told him i am not blaming you, you just need to listen that my reservation has no such info, he looked to me and said you people do not follow regulations nor policies ! he also looked to his colleague and said why people became so rude these days.

The location was very convenient and I think the staff was very accommodating and we truly appreciated that. The hotel was very safe with several layers of secure entryways and the rooms were comfortable. The only thing that could have been better was the design of their showers (it was a half door shower/tub where the water just couldn't be helped but to leak all over the bathroom floor) and there was no refrigerator in the room, which could have been very useful for us and we assumed all rooms had a fridge. But I would consider staying here again.

Good location, comfortable bed. But our keycards stopped working halfway through, we asked for the room to be cleaned and they made the bed but don’t change the sheets, and didn’t fill the toilet paper. The same staff that worked the front desk was also the bar staff, and the drinks were inconsistent at best. Also the shower door was a half a door so when you took a shower the entire room was soaking wet. And you could tell that this was a consistent issue because the molding was rotting. So, not the worst experience but not ideal.

Location was great, room was big for it's price being in London. However, room was dirty with rubbish from previous guests still on the carpet. Soap bottle had thick black tar like substance at the top where soap dispense In addition, all the staff I encountered during the 4 day stay was rude and unfriendly with lack of information on the room types available in the hotel. Note for anyone booking this hotel for early check in - this hotel does not provide early check in until from 11am and if you do want to check in from 11am, you have to book directly from them, pay the 15 quid. Any request to the hotel if you book via hotels.com/expedia basically means you do not get the early check in. Also, if you book a accessible bathtub room, this room type is AVAILABLE, do not be cheated by the staff who told me they do not have this room type when I booked this specifically and tried to give me just a shower. He ended up telling me there is a standard bathtub room available if I wait for 5 mins, when I went up, it was an accessible bathtub room, not a standard bathtub. The staff and cleanliness has totally let this hotel down.
