The location is great. One can get to Heathrow T5 on the #423 bus from directly across the street, for 1.75 (tap to pay on the bus with a credit card). No need to pay four times as much for the slower and less frequent Hotel Hoppa. The noon checkout time is also a plus. The minuses are (1) a rather limited choice of nearby dining (though there is a McDonalds right next door), and (2) rather poor WiFi (i.e., it may take several attempts just to get checked in for a flight online).

Easy to get to from Terminal 5, pity Uber and Taxis have to charge such high fees of nearly £50 for a couple of miles. Check in was easy at 11pm. Room was very small for a family of 4, with 3 beds crammed in and very little space for luggage. Carpet was a little dirty. Ground floor room was very quiet, which was brilliant. Breakfast was a surprise, with full cooked and continental buffet and made to order items, plenty of tables and very helpful staff. Room service menu and bar very extensive too. A good option for an overnight airport hotel but family room is too small for a family of 4.

Check in was a disaster, the person handling it has managed to charge my debit card THREE times and has said that he cannot do anything about it. I can only hope this is rectfied before catching my flight home to Canada.
