8/10 Good

There are two HUGE positives about this place: the central location to everything in London and the amount of space in the flat. The flat is a short walk to Liecster Square or Piccadilly tube stop. The bedrooms were huge and the common spaces were big. These two things were SO GOOD that we would stay here again even with negatives.
The biggest negatives: the lower level smells like second hand smoke (more so in the hallway, less in the bedrooms) and the beds are so hard. We bought a fragrance diffuser at Boots to cover the smoke smell, but it didn't do much. Bed firmness is a personal preference, but even our kids who can sleep anywhere thought they were hard. The beds were so hard that after night two of our seven night stay my husband made a trip to a London IKEA to buy foam mattress toppers for two of the beds. The third bed we made a make shift mattress topper out of the unused pillows. The mattress toppers took the beds from hard to tolerable, but still not great. Hopefully the owner left the mattress toppers on or invests in better ones.
The flat is in a very busy area and there is street noise past midnight. Bring ear plugs if that will bother you, for some of us it was like white noise. One bedroom doesn't face the street and is quieter. The kitchen is a bit bare bones. Only 4 bowls though the flat sleeps 6; no strainer, water pitcher, measuring cups, or oven safe dishes; and dull knives. But the huge pros still outweigh the negatives and we would stay here again.
