staff were very helpful and accommodating lovely service. room was spacious, kitchen amenities were okay for a short stay. room did have a mouse. they offered us another room so that was nice, but wish there hadn’t been a mouse in the first place. staff certainly made the stay better. i think the lovely woman i talked to was called jada she was very nice.

The rooms in the apartments side of Melia White House are outdated, but everything worked for my needs and the room was comfortable. I was there during a heatwave and the AC was a godsend. The rest of the hotel is very nice and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay went well, including calling a cab for us to the airport because we had a lot of luggage and were running late. We got the breakfast which was one of the best breakfasts I had in a hotel, and having the pantry available 24/7 was very helpful. Melia is also in a great location, close to several Underground stops which was very convienient and several resteraunts/grocery stores near by.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The staff helped with my group and I’s luggage as soon as we got off the taxi and arrived. The room was comfortable and had everything as described. The staff also accommodated to requests we had and was very friendly. I will definitely come back.

The location is perfect. If you plan not to stay in the room much it’ll do fine. The hotel lobby looks very luxurious but the apartments are less so. That’s fine for the price however my shower was blocked and kept bubbling out water and dirt at random points during my stay. One morning I woke up to the place flooded due to this. I wanted to tell the staff so they could fix it but the reception and conceierge always had a queue during the day and it was slow to be seen to. I didn’t have the time to waste standing around to report the issues during the day. By the time I was able to report it at night I was wanting to go to sleep. Overall the location is good, if I didn’t have the issues in my room the stay would have been better. Perhaps having a larger reception and more staff available would have helped matters.

The front desk, reception and staff were excellent. Very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. A 5 star service. We had an apartment. 4th floor which was fine for us. It was very quiet which is important to us. The apartment was tired. Although clean, there were carpet stains and scuffs on the paintwork. The separate bedroom was exactly what we wanted. The bed was very comfortable and lots of wardrobe space for a three night stay. The kitchen left a bit to be desired. Although we didn't cook, the units were stained from use, we had glass tumblers, and cups, but a larger drinking glass and wine glasses would have been useful. The bathroom definitely needs tlc. The extractor didn't work, the shower hose connecting to the tap leaked and there was quite a bit of black mould all around the shower. The sofa in the lounge has burn marks on it and just looked grubby. Overall, it was ok, but certainly could do with a refurb.

Check in was a little troublesome. Took a while and room was not ready at the check in time. Gave us a drink voucher for their bar. When we went to use it, it was only good for beer or wine. (Not what we drink) Place is in a great location. Staff was friendly, but check in gets hectic. Room was perfect for what we needed. Easy to get to the tube and plenty of dining options in the area as well as hotel. Would stay there again.
