The rooms thermostat wasn’t working and upon check in it was confirmed that some of them in the rooms weren’t working and were being replaced, which meant the room was like an ice box. Bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor and definitely not a 4 star, more a 2! Very disappointing!

We stayed over for 1 stay and it did the job! Room was warm and clean, staff were all kind, polite and helpful. Breakfast was great with loads of options. Only improvement I would offer is bed need to be more comfy for longer stays.

Stayed during NYE. Our stay was average. The room appeared clean and tidy on arrival. Thankfully as we were celebrating NYE we did not spend a lot of time in our room as if we did we would be more disappointed. The room had a bad smell which seemed to be coming from the bathroom area. Our room was also very cold as the heating did not work consistently. The staff helped as much as they could by providing a plug in heater to accommodate. We did ask if another room was available but due to being NYE the hotel was fully booked. This place is fine if you need somewhere to put your head for the night but would not recommend for more than one night. Our room was also the accessible/disability room. Neither one of us needed this but we found it odd that the towel rail is placed very high and towels were out of reach for anyone who maybe a wheelchair user for example.

Our room was clean, but slightly small despite having a superior room. Apart from this we had a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was very good with decent choices. Staff were generally excellent all round. We would stay here again.
