This is my "go to" hotel in London. The staff here are great. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We upgraded our room and we enjoyed A/C, a mini fridge and a fancy coffee maker. The breakfast buffet is really good. They have now added hot food items like bacon, sausages, fried eggs, baked beans. There is also a fancy coffee machine now. The hotel is in a great area for transport, shopping, and dining. You will not be disappointed!

I accidentally booked a small room with two twin beds for my husband and me. Unfortunately there were no other rooms available, which is not their fault of course. I mention this not to blame but to warn you to review the reservation carefully. The location was ideal. It was very easy to get to many restaurants and to 2 Underground stations. I wish the room was cooler. Even with the fan going, we spoiled Americans were too hot.

Good service, clean, no hot breakfast

Our TV did not pick up but a few channels, and when someone came to "fix" it, well, it wasn't fixed. We should have been offered another room. Really should have a couple of hot food breakfast options, and some variety of fruit.

Good size room but no AC

The accommodations are basic, but the room was a good size. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Good continental breakfast. It was over 70F/21C, and the lack of AC meant sleeping with the windows open. Fortunately the street was quiet. A couple of cafes and restaurants on the same street and nearby. Close to Paddington Station. I would stay again but would be mindful of the forecast.

The room was very clean but there was no hairdryer in room or electronic safe which i consider standard for a hotel room in 2025 Room was at the front of hotel - It was very noisy with people outside the hotel drinking and playing music which went on for a long time though no fault on the hotel

Phenomenal budget stay. This property could be a 4 star property if they had more amenities & more staff to take luggage and stuff like that. We’re young and didn’t really care about that so it was fine, great for the price. Close to a laundry place, but the laundry is super overpriced - BE WARNED 22 pounds a wash/dry

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lancaster Hall Hotel late June (2025)! We were warmly greeted upon our arrival and the entire staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Nice room, comfortable bed and the breakfast was excellent with a nice variety to choose from. It was a comfortable walk (10 minutes with 2 large luggage) from Paddington Station. We arrived from Heathrow on the Elizabeth Line. We look forward to returning!

Great location in a quiet safe area with great transport links. Close to Hyde Park and Oxford Street. Lovely staff, nice hotel. Only downside was the room was very hot (although a fan was provided).
