Great hotel within easy walking distance of Earl's Court Tube station. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed. I imagine one area the hotel could improve would be in communication and transparency. At check-in the staff pre-authorized 50 GBP per room, per night on my credit card. This was explained to cover incidentals. Only when I checked my credit card statement after I departed did I see they had charged 5% for discretionary service charge. OK, maybe this is legitimate, but the team could have noted this at some point, in order to manage expectations.

Here is a much shorter, well under-1500-character version that still warns people clearly: ⸻ We stayed at the Miiro Templeton Garden and liked the location: it’s on a quiet street and only a three-minute walk from Earl’s Court station, which is very convenient. The hotel itself is cute, but guests should be careful when booking a Superior room. We chose that category because the website shows bright, spacious rooms with real windows. The room we were given looked nothing like the photos. The only “windows” were small and high near the ceiling, and the ventilation wasn’t working. It was 26°C and felt claustrophobic. Reception first said the hotel was full and couldn’t move us. Later that night, after insisting and showing them the photos, the night manager started offering alternatives. The process was messy: one room was in the basement, and another was mistakenly shown to us even though a guest was already inside. After about 40 minutes, we were finally moved to a proper Superior room on the fifth floor, which matched what we originally booked and had working ventilation. When we got ready for bed, we found hairs on the sheets, but Nina from staff fixed it quickly and was very kind. After that, the stay was fine. Overall, the hotel is charming and well located, but the start was stressful. Be aware that not all “Superior” rooms match the photos, so confirm the room layout if natural light matters to you.

Great location and great staff! The room was spacious and very clean. The bar also served amazing cocktails and had great coffee and croissants in the morning. When we had an issue, staff was quick to respond and was more than accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
