All of the staff was amazing!! Loved my time here! I’m so glad I chose to stay at this hotel. The amenities at Carlton were also great. Super accommodating staff. The only downside is the room is small, beds are small but that is standard I guess in the UK. Also, it was a bit dusty so woke up slightly allergic. Other than that, great experience.

Don’t feature the picture of a pool as the main image for the hotel, if the pool is not in the hotel itself. I booked this hotel due to the fact that it advertised a pool. That was a blatant misrepresentation. While they show pictures of facilities such as the pool and the gym - they are not in the hotel. Guests can walk a block to a different hotel, the Carlton Tower, and use those facilities there. The staff is very nice, no complaints there. The hotel itself is a bit run down, but with decent rooms. Location is great if you want to be in the heart of Knightsbridge and close to Hyde Park.

Be warned. The picture is a complete misrepresentation and this swimming pool, as wonderfully attractive as it is, is NOT in The Lowndes hotel. The pool is in another hotel 300+ mtrs away. Moreover, this fact is not explained either here in the Expedia ad or in the hotel TV screen information, or anywhere else in the hotel, at least not clearly enough. A complete con.
