Disappointing room, lovely staff

The hotel is in a good location for those who like to walk and take in their surroundings. It's only a very short walk from Euston station which is great. We weren't aware of the roadworks going on outside the hotel prior to arrival and it was quite noisy early in the morning, as it was overall. I cannot fault the staff who were friendly and kindly allowed us to store our luggage once checked out, whilst we had a few hours to kill waiting for the train. The room was not worth the money we paid, and the added service charge we had to pay on arrival. The blind was dirty and mouldy, the woodwork in the bedroom was rotting from the shower and smelled damp. The main shower head wasn't working properly and the pipes to the detachable shower head were mouldy and splitting. There were holes in the towels and the room itself was all scuffed and marked across the walls. The bed was comfy enough, it just overall wasn't worth the cost.

Great location, shops and restaurants and bars nearby as well as brilliant tube and train links. The hotel room was adequate although a bit small and dark. There was also a buzzy sound going off constantly during the night, and then would go away for a while but then would sometimes occur in quick succession.

The staff were very nice, but our room was very small with no carpets on the floor. The location near Euston Station was great.

Ive stayed here once before and it was fine. Id booked a windowless room and was told upon check in we could have a complimentary upgrade to a room with a window. The window looked out onto a metal ventilation system of some form so completely pointless. The shower had balck mould all around the silicone which was disgusting! The cleaners came at 8am to clean the room next door and was laughing extremely loud, slamming toilet lids etc not even attempting to be quiet so early

The hotel's location is great. Easy walkable from Euston station and right on top of Euston Square tube station. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and courteous. It is on a busy street and the windows are not sound proof, as advertised. Also, there was a machine connected to our air conditioning unit in our room that malfunctioned creating a loud buzzing noise every half an hour so!

Handy for an overnight stay near Euston Station. Comfy beds and clean enough but fast food wrappers lying on the floor of the lift were apparently of little concern to reception staff.

Front desk needs better marketing skills for building partnerships within the community for visitors to utilise. Pad in room does not have Internet connection for most of the options. Limited toiletries, those there were watered down. No extra bedding in the room. Blind in window does not come down, only one working blind. Not enough milk in room to make multiple cups. Fridge not stocked, so having to get supplies from shop. Price steep based on the above.

Fantastic stay

When we arrived we had a quick and friendly check in and the first impressions of the hotel were good. The room was lovely, clean and spacious with everything we needed. It was a nice surprise when a member of staff knocked on the door with a selection of fresh fruit because we were the hotel's 'VIP of the day'. This was a lovely extra touch. I would definitely stay again

The location was great. The staff was kind, helpful, accommodating on every way possible. We had two rooms and they allowed us to have an available room immediately and later they offered a bigger room. The only problem was the water pressure in sink and shower and hot water often in the sink instead of cold. We will stay here again.

The shower ceiling was mouldy, dirt around edges of shower tray. The TV in the room was tiny and set in the corner of the room against the wall so really unwatchable. The TV was controlled by a tablet which wasn't charged when we arrived so we had to wait til it was charged before we could use it. No room to move around as the room was absolutely tiny. Noise from the road was so loud it kept us awake most of the night. And from the window all you could see was the encampment of tents set up on the opposite side of the road. It didn't feel very safe walking around on the evening

The hotel is very conveniently located for a number of tube lines with a lot of bars and restaurants being within walking distance. The beds are comfortable, the showers big and powerful. The rooms can sometimes be on the smaller side but that's London for you! It has been quiet every time we have stayed. Check in and out is quick and efficient. The staff are friendly and professional. The breakfasts are great, although we don't have them often as I'm not really a breakfast person. They always store our luggage in a locked room with a ticket number on our checkout day until we come back at the end of the day.
