Dissatisfied customers

The location was in a great spot and convenient to a lot of stores and restaurants. Unfortunately, so much needed to be fixed that we spent a good deal of our vacation time trying to get that just straightened out. Initially the door didn't even lock (a great feeling when you are in a strange area), moldy food left in fridge, shower wouldn't drain, toilet wouldn't flush for hours after a person used it, old vinyl couch flaked off on our clothes and throughout the apartment..it took a number of days to get things taken care of but by then it was the day before we left and not even an apology..that would have been nice considering people save up their hard earned money to go on vacation and have so many options out there...make sure you have a phone number to discuss ahead of time on how problems will be handled if they occur. (Owner and maintenance not on site) I just wish we had a better experience as that was my vision for our much anticipated vacation and still sad that it didn't happen.
