This was a lovely, clean, spacious flat in an incredible neighborhood. It was beautiful and quaint with loads to do as well as being central to almost everything. Wonderful stay!

Loved this house!The location is THE BEST.You have all the best restaurants few steps away from the flat.Oxford circus is 5 mins walking distance.It was clean, as described, very spacious.A very cosy British home that made me feel like a local.The host was very responsive and assisted us all the way.Will book it every time I come back to London.

The apartment is described as “chic” but a more suitable adjective would be “serviceable.” The primary positive is its location, on a quiet side-street in Mayfair, just a short walk to the Bond Street and Oxford Circus tube stations. It’s also quite roomy, although the layout is a bit bizarre. The negatives are the lackluster, lowest common denominator furnishings, artwork, cabinetry, kitchen…everything about the interior, really. It’s just completely lacking in any charm or quality and needs a complete overhaul. The photos posted by the host overstate the current state of the interior. The secondary bedroom is also very tiny, requiring an almost gymnastic move to squeeze by the edge of the bed, and not even room for a small nightstand. All in all, I arrive at a 4-star rating balancing out the 3-star interior with the 5-star location and value proposition.

I agree with many others that the location ABSOLUTELY can't be beat, and if I were rating on just that this would certainly be a 5 star stay! If that is what matters most to you and you are willing to ignore the other things, then this is a great apartment for you.a few things to be aware of - I don't know if the photos are AI generated or outdated, but they are not an accurate depiction of the property. The furniture is very heavy, bulky, big hardwood in both bedrooms. In the first, smaller bedroom, the large bulky king size bed does not fit the room and makes it extremely difficult to get in and out. There is no other furniture other than the very outdated and big bed. In the big room, the furniture is so heavy, a dresser blocks the closet making it unusable. In the bathroom, there are fuzzy bath mats near the shower and the toilet that just did not feel clean. There was hair in the bathrooms, leftover rubbish in the hallway (women's hair ties), and there was a stain of blood on the ceiling. I messaged the host right away to let him / her know, but didn't receive a response - just the standard responses.the kitchen was great. the living room furniture is very dated and old, dusty, and just not aligned with the pictures.We care a lot about feeling like we're comfortable, in a clean and airy environment. this is not that. However, we walked everywhere and the check in / check out process was a dream. Your priorities are what will decide on how to rate!
